  On every fifteenth day of the eighth lunar month, people all over China will be getting together to eat with their families, look at the moon and celebrate the Mid-Autumn festival. The Mid-Autumn day is one of the biggest festivals in the Chinese lunar calendar. It’s a time for homecoming and enjoying moon cakes.

 

  Tujia and Han people are different in the Mid-Autumn Festival,Tujia people's Mid-Autumn Festival is another unique:Mid-Autumn Night "Birth son to steal melons" hope flourishing population;Tujia people have the custom of worship Moon, to carry a private sector wishes to pray for good weather next year;Hmong people, young men and women join in the Mid-Autumn Festival night, singing and dancing, held a "Jump Moon" activities, bathed in the brilliant moon, pour out love for each other.
