Zhangjiajie Shi Er

　　Shi Er also named Yan Er in Chinese is a kind of black lichen grown on rocks. Shi Er usually grows on humid rocks. It is a kind of fungus food with enough nutrition. Shi Er was recorded in (Ben Cao Gang Mu) by Li Shizhen. It also has medicinal functions. Having Shi Er in summer can diminish inflammation. It as well has the functions of tonic and lower blood pressure. Shi Er can be used for stewing chicken, chops and pig"s trotters. Dried Shi Er is very light, so it is convenient for bringing home.
